I remember the man in the bike shop telli...Oh yes. I remember the man in the bike shop telling us to only use the training wheels for 3 months, or they become dependent on them. We dutifully followed that advice with the first child. The second had his trainers on for at least a year and the third, well I'm embarrassed to say.
