Mister Fixit and his Bag of Fruit

Mister Fixit caused a mini sensation when he appeared in the schoolyard yesterday wearing THIS:

100_0647

Fixit reckons the not-really-an-interview went well. It turned out to be a group session with 24 other applicants; they got put into small groups and were given a task and we assume that the panel was assessing teamwork, leadership, ability to follow instructions or cope with difficulties etc. Fixit said he enjoyed himself, which I put down to his task being the assembly of a Meccano bike. I'm thinking having two small sons might have given him an unfair advantage in this area, frankly. Apparently he is in the final 100 of over 2100 applicants. There are 30 positions and we should hear in the next fortnight whether he's made it through to the last round which we think will be an actual Face-to-Face Interview. Talk about jumping through hoops.

Goodness me he's had to jump through hoops indeed. Sounds as though he is doing fantastically well though. Very dapper in his suit.

Doesn't he look dashing in his suit! Good luck with the remaining hoops and the jumping!

(Sorry, made a typo.) He looks so good. The packaging is indeed impressive and the contents are even better. I am as confident as possible that he will be one of the chosen few.

I think Fixit looks rather Dashing!

Hate the interview step-by-step process. If he gets the job it will certainly be worth the time and trouble and a good few stiff drinks!!

Signing up to 'Team Fixit' right now!

I HATE those sorts of team interviews... but if he enjoyed it he will have come across very well. The first one I did, years ago, had two groups, one making a car and one making a bridge; one girl floated between the two groups doing nothing and getting in the way. She got very highly rated for "linking" the two groups. All of us actually working were hugely pissed off about it.

Go Fixit. You ROCK the suit BTW!

Top 100 from 2100 so far is not too shabby. (and my wv is 'ratio' so that must be an omen)

He looks very smart indeed. I would give him the job based on effort taken with appearance if nothing else!

Hooray for the Stomper/Fixit family!

He does look wonderful. One of those men who can carry off a suit.

I do love a man in a suit and yours looks very handsome indeed.
100 people, 30 positions. 1 in 3. The chances are getting better every day. Down from 2100 - it's awesome just to have made the top 100.
Fingers crossed!!

He looks like a man of integrity. I hope he remembered to match his speedy jocks with speedy socks in the tradition of Cherub, just to give him an extra advantage.

What's the bag of fruit? Is that some kind of euphemism?
