That was quick.

There's been carnage on the new trampoline.

Don't worry. It's only the wobbly tooth that we predicted would be gone by the end of the week. (And just as an aside it's about time!! It has been a long time between tooth fairy visits for this little blonde bunny)

But it gave him a big fright. He was still recovering from the incident involving grazes and splinters from yesterday's stay in the gym crèche. So he was not as stoic as usual and there were screams from the tramp till I ran out, and much spitting of blood, and then there was a fair bit of sobbing until I was able to clean him up a little and talk it into something he could deal with. That tooth was coming out anyway the face-washer will stop the bleeding it couldn't have been too bad or other teeth would have come out too now the tooth fairy will have to come you are going to have quite a lot of money what with this and your other savings I wonder what you'll buy with it probably lego. He's okay now. Just gotta hope the daddy tooth grows in quick to disguise that horrible gap.

  3. eek, yesterday I almost mentioned that years ago we came up with the "one at a time' policy after we had a tooth incident but I thought I would sound like an old granny....

  5. It goes with the territory. If you have boys you can expect at least one broken tooth. Shhh....don't tell Liz!
Think of the tales he can tell...
    Happy New Year, Stomper!

  6. Awwwwww. You can tell he's been crying too! J.T. lost his tooth (and it has been a long while) on Sunday. It was so gross.... hanging by a thread and oozing blood.... I was very glad it came out. BUT we forgot the tooth fairy bit last night!! We are in soooooo much trouble. Luckily she was just busy and will hit our house FOR SURE tonight.

I still remember losing that one.

I'm impressed that you got that photo. Must have been some fast talking you did.

  10. You're blogging so much at the moment - I love it !

Poor lad. My dad used to rip mine out before they were ready .. *that* used to make me cry ( although that IS a lot of blood on the tramp ! )

What did the curly-mop think of all the commotion ?

    xx

  11. Poor Cherub was a bit subdued seeing as it was his skull that knocked the tooth out. Plus if Climber cries then Cherub often joins in.

  12. Ohhh, look at that face. Poor little bugger. Hope the tooth fairy was generous. He deserves it.

  13. In about 10 years' time, that photo will make excellent blackmail fodder for ensuring Climber completes his chores.

  14. Aw, poor kid. This is quite a contrast to the usual look of devilment that's in his eyes. Hopefully a visit from the tooth fairy dame and some nice filthy lucre will bring it back.

  15. Those wobbly teeth seem to generate a HUGE amount of blood when they finally come out.

Better a lost baby tooth than a broken nose though...!

He does look like he's trying to be brave for the photo.
