First day of Kinder

He had a great day!

Predictably, I had a little sook in the car after I dropped him off. But I'm alright now.

  2. What, no bucket on his head?

I do like his t-shirt though. Congratulations on his first day. Wait till next year and you're the mother of Schoolchildren.

  4. Long-haired boy. That's brilliant.

We wanted to make one for Pip that said "I went to Sydney and all I got was this new chest."

  5. I *made* that shirt! Seemed a good idea to send him off in that - avoid confusion...

  9. Love, love the shirt! I bet the staff did too. I don't understand why anyone would think he's a girl. Even with the hair. He so looks like a rock star.... not a girl!

Glad he had a great day. I cried all the way out to the car and all the way to work when my J.T. started.

And if I can sook, then you can, too.

And then did you tap dance to the nearest cafe?

  14. Glad he had a good day (and that you were ok, too, once you'd shed a wee tear!)

The T-shirt I thought was cool and funny, but now I know you made it yourself I'm even MORE impressed!

Hope the rest of the week goes well for you both.

  19. This makes me remember when my youngest went off to kindergarten. A friend came and whisked me away for coffee and breakfast somewhere. I had no idea how to behave myself since I'd been cooped up with small fry since the birth of his oldest sister [she's 14 years older than him.] He's almost 21 now and I've learned how to conduct myself when someone takes me out for breakfast....
