Gobbles

After a bit of sweet talking, Cherub agreed to wear gobbles this week at swim class. At the end of class he rushed out to tell me excitedly that he could SEE UNDER THE WATER. Yes sweetie.

Cherub's art work is coming along. The kids are watching Louie in the mornings,
... a sweet program that teaches drawing. Climber calls out at 8.15am Mummy can you get me some paper? (and I yell back Get it yourself!) and a few minutes later he produces a very competent drawing of a sheep or a crocodile. So I encouraged Cherub to get in on the action with this result:

Oh and we bought the boys some glubs. Modelled for your viewing pleasure by Cherub.

Just after he sang this little ditty for us:
Nick pack giddy whack
Gib a dog a bone
This old man came rolling down the hill

  2. Okay...so first I'm humming "From little things, big things come" for days. NOW, I'm going to be telling the kids to put their "gobbles" on at swimming. :-)

And, yes, the drawings are excellent. Must get my boy to check out that program.

  5. You have reminded me about a post I need to write.

It won't get written until I have recovered from the delight of this post - the drawings and the mispronounced word.

  7. I know I don't really need any more males in this house, but can I adopt him?

My boychildren are getting old and smelly.

  10. Love it, love it, LOVE IT! Louie and Yoko are great aren't they? When we have a special 'can't be fagged cooking' Mackers day, my 3yo Ratbag likes chippies and nuggets and Mum and Dad apparently like furgers :)

How are you liking "The Night Garden" ? - it's my new favourite, although I always was a Teletubbies fan ...

Gobbles is hilarious. I hope they don't gobble his face off.

  13. OMG - I just realised I didn't comb Cherub's hair after his bath. Was it a bird's nest today?

  14. They are excellent drawings!

Gobbles...how cute. And how amazing that he can see under the water with them! Wonders never cease. Don't you love the excitement they have over such obvious (to us) things?
